PROTEIN OATS | My Go-To Breakfast

For over a year now, I’ve been addicted to one of the easiest breakfast meals to make in existence: protein oats.

The benefits of this meal is that it provides well-rounded macros and fills me up for at least 3-4 hours (which is good for someone who eats and is still hungry 0.2 seconds after).

Remember that these macros are created specifically for me, my activity levels, lifestyle, and metabolism. If needed, you can adjust the portion sizes to fit your macros. Quick & easy recipe that’s done in 5 minutes. Even if you’re late to a meeting, this is one of those things that you can do in a matter of minutes. Quicker & healthier than stopping by a shitty fast food restaurant when you’re in a rush to work- I can assure you that!

 

P.S. yes that is a bottle of Moscato next to my morning oats: I was having brunch on this beautiful morning! 99% of the time I have plain black coffee in my superhero mug with breakfast; today just wasn’t that day! 😛

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup whole grain oats
  • 1 scoop BPI protein (Discount code: LEXESOH)
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 green apple
  • 1/4 cup sugar free syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Microwave oats for 1 minute. Once done, stir in your protein and cinnamon. Chop your apple and add into the bowl. Top it off with some sugar free syrup and you’re good to go!
